Size guide

Garment measurements in inches for sizes S to XL, how to measure yourself, and what to do between sizes.

Find your size

Our sets come in S, M, L and XL. The chart below is the garment measurement of the kurta, measured flat and doubled — not your body measurement. We cut with 2–3 inches of ease, so choose the size whose bust measurement is closest to your own bust plus about 2 inches.

Size Bust (in) Waist (in) Hip (in) Kurta length (in) Pants waist (in, elasticated) Pants length (in)
S 36 34 38 44 26–30 38
M 38 36 40 44 28–32 38
L 40 38 42 45 30–34 38
XL 42 40 44 45 32–36 38

How to measure yourself

  • Bust: around the fullest part, tape level, not pulled tight.
  • Waist: around the natural waist, where you bend sideways.
  • Hip: around the fullest part of the hip, feet together.
  • Length: from the highest point of the shoulder down to where you want the kurta to end.

Between sizes?

  • Straight and A-line sets: go down a size if you like a closer fit; the cut has room.
  • Anarkalis and shararas: go up a size; the bodice is fitted.
  • Sheer organza and heavily embroidered yokes don't stretch — size for the bust.

Model sizing

Each product page notes the model's height and the size she is wearing. Most of our models are 5'6"–5'8" and wear M.

Custom sizes and alterations

We don't offer custom sizes online. Unstitched suit material is available in the Unstitched collection if you'd rather have a piece tailored. For sizes beyond XL or custom measurements, boutique partners can order on request — see For boutiques.
